  •  I`m a FULL SCOPE part P approved Electrician and Electrical contractor based in  WOODBRIDGE Wickham Market,  I cover the WOODBRIDGE,  SUFFOLK COASTAL, FRAMLINGHAM, IPSWICH and FELIXSTOWE areas. I`m a sole trader and able to offer a one to one quality  service without all the corporate jargon and extra costings that go with the larger companies, which in turn gives my customers a local cost effective electrical service.

Call outs, subject to a minimum charge of £100.00 after 9pm and £50.00 per every hour after, and £75.00 after 8am then £20.00 every hour after.

  • NOTE: Certain areas in domestic dwellings are now subject to the part P competent person scheme under the building regulations that all electricians have to adhere to.
These are mainly areas with water, such as kitchens and bathrooms and outside building which are not part of the main building, such as sheds and garages.

I am compliant with the part P competent person scheme and registered with ELECSA. Be assured that I have been assessed by a local government appointed organisation and have all the qualifications, insurance and competency to carry out electrical installations.

  • NOTE: All dwellings MUST now have adequate main equipotential bonding in place. No electrical work will be carried out until this has been upgraded if needed.
This is due to main gas and water pipes that are now run in plastic and does NOT give an earth under fault conditions, if there is a fault that makes any water gas or oil pipe live? it will not go to earth and not protect anyone that could potentially touch any of these pipes.
These are the regulations set out by the 17th edition requirements for electrical installations BS 7671:2008
All good electricians will look for this in the first instance.

All work is certificated, whether minor works or full electrical install. And is covered by a twelve month guarantee from workmanship or defects.

I also offer a six year warranty with the ECIC (The electrical  contractors insurance company limited) Which must be taken out within 60 days from completion of work carried out. That is if you choose to take up the offer.
